Hilary Ruby Borget grew up in the restaurant business. Never deviating from her epicurean passion, she attained a degree from the prestigious School of Culinary Arts in the USA. After graduation she further developed her craft travelling and working for clients wherever they led her including on horse riding trails in the Rocky Mountains to sail boats in the Caribbean and along the coast of the Mediterranean.
Creating delicious, nutritious mouth watering foods, using high quality products and whenever possible, highlighting seasonal, local and organic produce.
She held a seat on the Telluride Food and Wine Festival for several years and worked alongside many celebrity Chefs during that time. She eventually returned to her hometown of New York City, and honed her skill working under the guidance of master chefs there for many years. After a five year tenure as executive Chef at the popular Nick & Toni’s Café near Lincoln Center, Hilary moved to her favorite Colorado ski resort town of Telluride and began her current business as a Personal Chef and caterer to “the stars”. Her elite clientele have kept her moving and busy, in some of the most beautiful and luxurious locales on the map.
Discovering Australia in her travels it quickly became a new favorite destination. The bounty of flavors and fresh product available has inspired her to stay.
Hilary is a Personal Chef and experienced caterer. She will work with the client to organize, execute menus and functions according to their taste, dietary needs and budgets.
Her specialty cuisine is everything Mediterranean and she adores the foods of Spain and Latin America, but not exclusively.
She loves a good party and brings an individual flair to every detail of every event she does, whether it is an intimate dinner for two, a cocktail party for 50 or a casual BBQ for 100.
